The IS200EBKPG1C developed by General Electric is a backplane component for the Mark VI series. The Mark VI is a system out of the Speedtronic line of gas and steam turbine management series from GE. This board primarily functions as the backplane for control boards and the connectors for the Input/Output terminal board cables.
It is designed with three sections for controllers, that are appropriately labeled M1, M2, and C. Each sections has been built with its own Power Supply and the backplane is cooled by two fans. This board was designed into two sections with the upper part of this system consisting of DIN connectors for the plug-in control boards. This housing is populated with twenty-two female connectors to attach additional boards. It is important to note that connectors often are designed for specific board locations and one should refer to manuals to identify where boards should be located within the housing.
Compatible boards include ACLA, DSPX, EISB, EMIO, and ESEL. All of the DIN connectors are surrounded by a metal housing and the lower portion of the backplane has D-SUB connectors designed for Input/Output interface cables. The lower portion of the board also has three sets of test points that have been labeled M1, M2, and C along with a number of Power Supply plugs. Finally, the board features several circular DIN connectors for plug-in control of the included keypad interface cables.
