The DS200DPCBG GE IOS + Power Connect Board features two wire terminal blocks to attach a maximum of 6 signal wire and is populated with 1 fuse and one toggle switch. When replacing this board it is necessary to connect the signal wires to the same connectors on the terminal blocks. Take note that the terminal blocks have identifiers for the individual connectors. Diagram or label the terminal blocks to provide yourself a plan showing the identifiers and also what terminals have wires attached to them. Tape on the signal wires the identifier they are attached to on the terminal block. Consult with an electrician who is familiar with the installation of the drive to understand how the drive is powered. The drive receives power from a Power Supply and the best practice is to remove the fuses from the Power Supply to remove power from the drive. Keep the fuses in a safe place but removed from the Power Supply so that someone doesn?t replace the fuses while the servicer is working on the replacement procedure. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw that retains the wire in the terminal. However, make sure the screwdriver doesn?t touch any other components in the drive. The screwdriver might scratch a board or damage components or cause components to fall off the board. This PC board assembly has been discontinued by the OEM.

Description

The DS200DSPCH1 GE Digital Signal Processor Control Board provides processing capacity and communications bandwidth for control of high performance drives and other power converter applications. It features expandable local I/O for direct interface to control signals and there are several ways to reset the processor. Access via the VME sysreset command where you can command the VME master bus to write to the VME control register. You can also reset by using the power-up rest function or by using the reset button in the board. This board also features two VME bus interface connectors that are compatible with the programmable logic controllers as well as an available flash memory in a removable SIMM card along with EEPROM that can be configured in a connector designed in the board. It is designed with four interchangeable connectors for which you can connect daughter cards for additional processing and functionality. There is also a 60-pin connector and a 40-pin connector that provide the operator high-speed signal connections and power connections.
