Description

The DS215UCVBG1A GE Module Genius Controller features one Ethernet connector and multiple LED status indicators as well as 2 blocks of configuration switches and a connector that enables the attachment to a hard disk drive. This controller board also features a set of terminal blocks that are identified as Genius A and Genius B. During normal operations, the terminal blocks are used to connect signal wires directly to the controller. When you first set up the controller for use in your site, it is best practice to follow the installation instructions included with the controller to gain an understanding of the terminal blocks and the function of the individual terminals. After making yourself familiar with the installation instructions, first strip about one half inch from the end of each signal wire and insert the end into the terminal and open the terminal by loosening the retention screw. Insert the signal wire into the terminal with the bare copper inserted into the terminal and not exposed outside the terminal.
