Description

The DS215UDSAG1AZZ01A GE EX2000 Firmware Board features one 1 80196 Microprocessor and several erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) Modules along with 21 4-character displays and 32 LEDs. It is situated in the drive board cabinet so that the operator can view it and read the information provided by the 4-character displays and the 32 LEDs. The operator can act upon the information provided and also monitor the activity of the drive. If a trip condition occurs the display will provide information about it. It is important monitor this as a trip condition causes the drive to power down automatically to prevent damage to the drive. When the temperature of interior of the drive rises above a threshold, the drive displays an over temperature condition and automatically shuts down. It is best practice to make sure that this board is stored in a dust free, clean and cool indoor environment. Another trip condition is if an over current condition arises that allows too much power to the drive. In the event that this occurs, the drive will shut down to prevent damage or a safety hazard from occurring.
